How long do the curls last?

The curls last for up to about 2 days. The results are similar to those that you would get by setting your hair damp, and then sleeping in the curlers overnight, or sitting under a hair dryer for about thirty minutes. The main differences with Minute Curls is that the time is reduced to just a few minutes, and with the Minute Curls, the hair is set dry.

What’s inside of the Minute Curls cap?

The Minute Curls cap is made of several layers of fabric. Each layer has a specific purpose…for example, the outer layer is air tight and is designed to prevent air flow thus trapping the warm steamy air inside. The inner two layers of fabric have an all natural dry filling quilted inside. This filling is what gets warm when the Minute Curls cap is heated in a microwave oven.

HOW TO USE THE MICROWAVABLE CAP

Set hair dry on any kind of standard hair curlers (use smaller curlers for curls and waves, and larger curlers for lift and body)    Heat up the microwavable cap in your microwave oven    Cover hair on curlers with the warm steamy cap for about 2-3 minutes    Remove cap and let hair cool for about 2-3 minutes before unrolling

HOW IT WORKS

Imagine hanging a silk dress in a warm steam room.    The warm steamy air inside of the cap gently forms the hair to the shape of the curlers. When the cap is removed, the hair is allowed to cool before it is unrolled. The cooling locks in healthy silky curls that can last for up to two days.    Faster than a curling iron or hot rollers, with no hair damage!
